Formentera
Formentera: a peaceful retreat
Just south of Ibiza lies Formentera, an idyllic haven for a secluded yacht charter. The smallest of the Balearic Islands, it seduces guests with crystalline waters and powder-soft white sand beaches—most notably Playa de Ses Illetes, whose Caribbean-like beauty feels worlds away yet effortlessly accessible by yacht.

Formentera’s laid-back rhythm makes it a sanctuary for relaxation—whether savouring fresh seafood at a beachfront chiringuito or cycling quiet coastal paths beneath the sun. Its crystal-clear, shallow waters invite languid swims, snorkelling among seagrass meadows, and effortless paddleboarding in sheltered bays. For a touch of local culture, wander the whitewashed streets of Sant Francesc Xavier, where artisan markets and boutique cafés capture the island’s understated charm.
No visit to Formentera is complete without exploring its trio of iconic lighthouses: La Savina, El Pilar de la Mola, and Cap de Barbaria. If time allows only one, set course for Cap de Barbaria. Perched at the southernmost point of the Balearics amid a striking, lunar-like landscape, it offers a mesmerising vantage point for sunset—arguably the finest on the island.
